Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit original research articles that have not been published previously and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere. All manuscripts must follow the IJAMSET formatting guidelines described below. Authors are required to use the official IJAMSET Article Template when preparing their manuscript.


1. Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts must be organized in the following order:

  1. Title
  2. Author Names and Affiliations
  3. Corresponding Author
  4. Abstract
  5. Keywords
  6. Introduction
  7. Methodology
  8. Results and Discussion
  9. Conclusion
  10. Acknowledgements (if any)
  11. Authors' Contributions
  12. References

2. Page Layout

  • Paper size: A4 (210 x 297 mm)
  • Column: Single column
  • Line spacing: 1.15
  • Paragraph alignment: Justified

3. Title

  • Font: Times New Roman, Bold
  • Maximum length: 20 words
  • The title should be concise, informative, and reflect the content of the manuscript
  • Avoid abbreviations and formulas in the title

4. Author Names and Affiliations

  • Author names: Bold, with superscript numbers corresponding to affiliations
  • Affiliations: Italic, including department, institution, city, and country
  • Mark the corresponding author with an asterisk (*)
  • The corresponding author's email address must be included

5. Abstract

  • Length: 150 to 200 words
  • Font: Times New Roman, 10 pt, line spacing 1.15
  • The abstract should briefly describe the background, objectives, methods, main findings, and conclusions of the study
  • Do not include citations, abbreviations, equations, or references in the abstract
  • The abstract should clearly demonstrate the novelty and contribution of the study

6. Keywords

  • Provide 4 to 6 keywords
  • Separated by commas
  • Keywords should reflect the main topics of the manuscript

7. Body Text

  • Font: Calibri 10 pt
  • Line spacing: 1.15
  • Paragraph alignment: Justified

8. Section Headings

  • Heading 1: Bold, numbered (e.g., 1. INTRODUCTION)
  • Heading 2: Bold, numbered (e.g., 1.1 Experimental Setup)

9. Figures

  • All figures must be cited in the text (e.g., Figure 1, Figure 2)
  • Figure captions are placed below the figure, centered
  • Format: Figure X. Caption of the figure.
  • Minimum resolution: 300 DPI
  • Accepted formats: JPG, PNG, TIFF

10. Tables

  • All tables must be cited in the text (e.g., Table 1, Table 2)
  • Table titles are placed above the table, centered
  • Format: Table X. Caption of the table.

11. Equations

  • Equations must be numbered consecutively in parentheses at the right margin: (1), (2), (3)
  • All variables must be defined in the text
  • Use the equation editor when preparing equations

12. Authors' Contributions

Authors must describe the contribution of each author using bold initials. Contribution categories include: conceptualization, methodology, data curation, formal analysis, investigation, validation, visualization, writing (original draft), writing (review and editing), supervision, and project administration.


13. References

IJAMSET uses IEEE citation style with numbered references in square brackets [1], [2], [3].

  • References must be numbered consecutively in the order they first appear in the text
  • Minimum 12 references, primarily from international journal articles and conference proceedings
  • References should be recent and closely related to the research topic
  • Authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley or Zotero

Journal Article:
J. Smith and A. Brown, "Advanced materials characterization," Journal of Materials Science and Engineering, vol. 10, no. 2, pp. 12-18, 2024.

Book:
A. Kumar, Smart Materials and Engineering Technology. New York: Springer, 2023.

Conference Paper:
S. Lee et al., "Nanomaterials in smart engineering applications," in Proc. Int. Conf. on Advanced Materials and Technology, Singapore, 2023, pp. 100-110.


14. Language

Manuscripts must be written in English. Authors whose native language is not English are strongly encouraged to have their manuscripts reviewed by a native English speaker or a professional language editing service before submission.


15. File Format for Submission

  • Submit manuscripts in Microsoft Word (.docx) format using the official IJAMSET Article Template
  • File name format: FirstAuthorLastname_IJAMSET.docx

16. Plagiarism Policy

All submitted manuscripts will be checked for plagiarism prior to peer review. Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding 20% (excluding references) will be returned to the authors for revision.
